Warehousing & Inventory Management
Can goods arrive from more than one supplier?
Multiple supplier deliveries can be organized into a receiving plan. Provide a separate packing list and purchase-order reference for each supplier so the warehouse can identify the goods and report any differences.
What information is needed to plan storage?
Start with the product type, SKU count, carton dimensions, expected stock volume and stock turnover. Include any handling or storage requirements so they can be reviewed before receiving.
How is warehousing quoted?
A quotation needs the storage profile and the work required around it. Receiving, storage, picking, packaging, additional handling and outbound transport should be itemized in the agreed scope.
Quality Inspection & Amazon FBA Prep
Can my factory send products directly for preparation?
Factory deliveries can enter the receiving and preparation workflow. Confirm the receiving location and reference, packing list, label files and work instructions before dispatching the goods.
What should an inspection brief include?
Specify the product, the checks required, sample or full-check scope, acceptance criteria and the action to take when a problem is found. A warehouse check should not be treated as a product certification or laboratory test.
Can FBA preparation and onward shipping be planned together?
Preparation and the onward shipment can be coordinated as one operating plan. The destination, shipment instructions, cargo profile and transport requirements determine the route and the separate responsibilities.
FBM & DTC Order Fulfillment
What does FBM fulfillment from China mean?
The merchant remains responsible for the sale while a China-based fulfillment operation stores the goods and prepares customer orders. Stock is picked, packed and handed to an international shipping service rather than first being held in a warehouse in the customer's country.
Can I use my own branded packaging?
Customer-supplied packaging and inserts can be included in the packing plan. Confirm the material specifications, storage, replenishment and the instructions for each order type before they are used.
Which ecommerce platforms can send orders?
Share the platforms and systems your business uses. Native connections, API work and file import are different arrangements, and the supported method should be demonstrated and confirmed for your account.
Supplier Coordination & Consolidation
Can one purchase be split between different destinations?
A batch can be organized into separate outbound allocations. Provide the products, quantities, packaging and destination instructions for each allocation so the warehouse can plan the work.
What happens if a supplier delivers the wrong quantity?
The receiving difference should be recorded and reported for instructions. The customer can then decide with the supplier whether to replace the goods, adjust the shipment or release the accepted quantity.
Do you collect from every factory location?
Collection availability depends on the origin, goods and receiving arrangement. Share the factory address and cargo details so a collection or delivery plan can be reviewed.
Ocean Freight & FBA Inbound Shipping
How do FCL and LCL differ?
FCL uses a container for one shipment, while LCL shares container space with other cargo. The practical comparison includes the cargo volume and weight, handling, destination charges and delivery requirements.
Can a shipment go to an Amazon fulfillment center?
The destination and current shipment instructions can be reviewed as part of the transport plan. Preparation, booking, labels, delivery appointments and responsibility for each stage should be confirmed before dispatch.
What is needed for an ocean freight quote?
Send the factory or pickup city, delivery destination, product description, carton count, dimensions, gross weight and cargo-ready date. State the delivery and import arrangements you require so the quotation can show its scope clearly.
Air Parcel Shipping
How should I choose an air parcel service?
Begin with the customer's required delivery window and the packed product details. Compare the suitable routes, tracking coverage, destination restrictions and the complete quoted cost rather than choosing by the service name alone.
What does hybrid shipping mean here?
Here it means an ocean main transport leg combined with local parcel delivery at the destination. Its suitability depends on the goods, destination and the delivery window the order can accommodate.
Can batteries or other restricted products be shipped?
Eligibility must be checked for the exact product and route. Provide product specifications and the available documentation before sending goods to the warehouse; acceptance is not implied by the availability of a general parcel service.
Hybrid Shipping
What is hybrid shipping?
It combines an ocean freight linehaul with local parcel delivery at the destination. The route and handling plan are agreed for the shipment.
How does hybrid shipping differ from air parcel?
Air parcel uses air transport for the international leg. Hybrid shipping uses ocean transport and then a local delivery network, creating a different balance between delivery needs and transport cost.
What information is needed for a hybrid quote?
Share the products, carton dimensions, quantities, individual delivery destinations and required arrival window so the team can plan consolidation and destination delivery.
Custom Packaging & Value Added Services
Can I supply the packaging materials?
Customer-supplied boxes, bags, inserts and other approved materials can be included in the packing plan. Confirm their specifications, incoming quantities and replenishment arrangements with the account team.
How does gift packaging differ from standard pick and pack?
Standard packing focuses on the correct product and suitable transit protection. Gift packing adds presentation work such as box assembly, wrapping, cards, seals or a specific arrangement of components.
Can packaging be planned for a product launch?
Share the release schedule, expected order mix, packaging specification and stock plan in advance. The operating plan can then identify the materials and assembly work required for the launch.
Integrations & Account Support
Is every platform a ready-made integration?
A listed sales channel does not establish the connection method for every account. Share the systems you use so existing connectors, API requirements and file import options can be confirmed and tested.
How often does inventory sync?
Warehouse records and store updates are separate parts of the workflow. The connection's update frequency, stock-allocation rules and failure handling should be demonstrated and agreed for the specific account.
What should I test before sending live orders?
Check product mapping, an incoming order, stock allocation, packing instructions, shipment creation and tracking return. Also confirm what happens when an order changes or a product is unavailable.
