The delivery address needs an operational definition
DDP delivery discussions at fulfillmentyx start with the named destination and a review of the proposed import arrangement. The new service information separates the commercial delivery term from the work included in a particular logistics quotation.
ICC guidance explains that DDP places extensive delivery and import-formality obligations on the seller. A provider still needs to check whether the required arrangement can be carried out in the destination. Writing DDP on a quotation does not resolve those practical requirements by itself.
Specify the point, access and included charges
A warehouse gate, unloading dock and residential address present different delivery requirements. The enquiry should identify the destination postcode, receiving contact, access limits and any appointment or unloading needs.
The commercial scope should then record freight, clearance coordination, duties and taxes where included, final delivery and stated exclusions. Charges triggered by changes, examinations, waiting or a failed delivery need an agreed treatment. The purpose is to make comparisons possible on the same assumptions.
Keep the sale and shipping records aligned
The seller, buyer and logistics team should work from a consistent description of the cargo and delivery arrangement. Product changes, address changes and revised shipment quantities can require the scope to be reviewed.
The DDP and customs delivery page provides the enquiry checklist. Shipment-specific import questions remain subject to destination requirements and the responsible parties’ confirmation; the service information does not claim a universal importer authorization.
